Neftchi is nearing the completion of the transfer of Freddi Vargas, a player they have long sought to bring into their squad.

According to information obtained by Offsideplus.az, the Venezuelan footballer has arrived in Baku.

The transfer is expected to be formalised in the coming days.

It is worth noting that Vargas played for Neftchi last season on loan, making 32 appearances and contributing 5 goals and 8 assists for the Baku club.
