Azerbaijani football referees have successfully completed the UEFA training camp held in Geneva, Switzerland, for the 2026/2027 season.

According to Offsideplus.az, citing the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA), the training sessions took place from August 31 to September 2, featuring elite and first-category referees from the continental football organisation.

International referees Aliyar Agayev and Elchin Masiyev represented Azerbaijan at the course.

The referees gathered to analyse the outcomes of the previous season and familiarise themselves with the key requirements ahead of the new championship. Additionally, the training included assessments of the physical fitness levels and standards of the officials.
