Azerbaijan has achieved progress in the UEFA association coefficient rankings.

Offsideplus.az reports that Qarabag’s goal in the 90+4th minute carried decisive importance for the nation's football. Thanks to this result, Azerbaijan has overtaken Slovakia to gain an advantage in the country rankings.

With this match, Qarabag added +0.500 coefficient points to Azerbaijan’s tally.

Currently, Azerbaijan is in a favorable position in the race for the Top 25. Qarabag is expected to secure a spot in the top 24 of the tournament, which would mean additional bonus points for the national coefficient.
