Azerbaijani weightlifter Isa Rustamov has claimed a silver medal at the European Championships held in Batumi, Georgia.

Offsideplus.az reports that competing in the 71 kg weight category, the athlete secured second place in the snatch event by lifting 147 kg.

In the clean and jerk, he successfully lifted 180 kg, finishing fourth in this discipline. With a total result of 327 kg, Rustamov concluded the competition in fourth place overall.
