The "Champions" tournament held in Antalya, Turkey, has concluded with successful results for Azerbaijani wrestlers.

Offsideplus.az reports that our athletes secured a total of 13 medals during the competition. Of these, 3 were gold, 4 silver, and 6 bronze. On the final day of the tournament, four more of our representatives reached the podium. In Greco-Roman wrestling, Tural Ahmadov (63 kg) gave his opponents no chance and claimed the gold medal. Among the freestyle wrestlers, Bashir Verdiyev (65 kg) and Yusif Dursunov (125 kg) earned silver, while Mukhamad Kantemirov (125 kg) added a bronze medal to the tally.

Our national team also excelled in the team standings. The freestyle wrestling squad finished the tournament in 3rd place with a total of 119 points.
