UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) has signed a multi-year partnership agreement with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan and the Baku City Circuit Operations Company to host annual "UFC Fight Night" events in Baku through 2028.

Offsideplus.az reports that the first event under this collaboration is scheduled to take place on June 27 at the National Gymnastics Arena. The success of UFC’s debut event held at the Baku Crystal Hall last year, which saw a complete sell-out, paved the way for the expansion of this partnership.

UFC President Dana White praised the enthusiasm of Azerbaijani fans, stating that he was deeply impressed by the city's hospitality. Meanwhile, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Farid Gayibov, emphasized that this partnership is a significant milestone in strengthening Azerbaijan's position as a global sports hub and will provide a major boost to the development of local MMA athletes.
