A delegation led by AFFA General Secretary Jahangir Farajullayev met with Sabina Aliyeva, the Human Rights Commissioner (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

According to Offsideplus.az, during the meeting, the Ombudsman highlighted the ongoing efforts to protect human rights and freedoms, noting that the period from May 18 to June 18 is traditionally declared Human Rights Month in the country, featuring various legal awareness events.

Aliyeva emphasized the importance of ensuring the healthy physical development of children and youth by encouraging their involvement in sports, particularly football.

AFFA General Secretary Jahangir Farajullayev shared details regarding the association's current activities, ongoing football development projects, and recent achievements.

The sides also reviewed past collaborations between the Ombudsman institution and AFFA, exchanging views on future joint projects and initiatives.
