"Qarabag's" Brazilian midfielder Kadi Borges has become the most prolific goalscorer for Azerbaijani clubs in the UEFA Conference League.

According to Offsideplus.az, the experienced player found the net against the Netherlands' "Twente" in the play-off stage, bringing his tally in the tournament to six goals with a 1-0 victory. Kadi achieved this milestone in 17 matches for the Agdam club.

With this achievement, the Brazilian midfielder has surpassed Coy-Lens Mikels ("Sabah") and Rafael Utziqi ("Qabala", "Zira"), both of whom have five goals, to hold the record outright.

It is worth noting that K. Borges has increased his overall goals tally in European competitions for "Qarabag" to 11.
