Two Azerbaijani female wrestlers have advanced to the finals of the U-20 World Championship held in the capital of Slovakia, Bratislava.
According to Offsideplus.az, Gunay Gurbanova (57 kg) faced Indian wrestler Tanvi Qundesh Maqdum in the semi-finals.
After defeating her opponent, Gurbanova secured her place in the decisive match.
Ruzanna Mammadova (59 kg) also competed in the same round against Eda Balas (Hungary).
Our representative won convincingly (11-0) to advance to the final.
It is worth noting that both wrestlers will compete for the gold medal on August 21.
