The amount required for Azerbaijani national team player Mahir Emreli to leave Nurnberg, where he is defending his honor in Germany, has been announced.
Offsideplus.az reports that a club interested in the services of our compatriot must spend 500,000 euros. The famous German daily BILD newspaper reported this.
Emreli received an offer from the South Korean club Seoul some time ago. However, it seems that the amount demanded by Nurnberg for the striker's transfer has prevented the successful conclusion of negotiations.
The 27-year-old footballer, who actively participated in the negotiations and even traveled to South Korea for this purpose, has not been getting a chance at Nuremberg recently. Head coach Miroslav Klose told BILD that Mahir has a chance to return to the squad: "I spoke with Emreli and I can't blame him for anything in training. I told him that he can always show himself. I just have to feel it."
Nurnberg's sporting director Yoti Hatsialeksiu also said that the situation is stable: "Mahir is still our player. He is training with the team. The head coach will decide whether he will play on the pitch at the weekend."
It should be noted that Emreli joined Nurnberg from Dinamo Zagreb last summer. He played 15 matches in the German 2nd Bundesliga and the national cup for his new club, scoring 4 goals.
