The Azerbaijan women's 3x3 national basketball team has advanced to the semifinals of the FIBA Champions Cup.

Offsideplus.az reports that our national team faced Spain in the final match of the group stage. Our players secured a decisive 16:11 victory over their opponents. With this result, the team has guaranteed a top-two finish in the group.

It should be noted that the winner of the tournament will earn the right to participate in the FIBA 3x3 Champions Cup 2027, the FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2027, and the Olympic Qualification Tournament, which provides a pathway to the 2028 Summer Olympics.
