"Neftchi" has strengthened its squad with a new player.
According to information provided by the club, the Baku representative has signed Alen Skribek, who previously played for Hungary's ZTE.
The 25-year-old attacking midfielder has signed a 2+1 year contract.
Throughout his career, Skribek has only played for clubs in Hungary, with ZTE being his most recent team. He made his debut in the first three rounds of the domestic championship for the 2026/2027 season, contributing three assists.
Last season, he scored 11 goals and provided 5 assists in 37 matches for ZTE.
A versatile player, Skribek can operate in central midfield and as a number 10. He is also capable of playing as a right or left winger, utilising both feet.
In the 2023/2024 season, the Hungarian footballer was part of the Paksi team that won the national cup.
Skribek has represented Hungary's U-21 national team in 11 matches between 2021 and 2022, scoring 2 goals and providing 3 assists.
