The third free practice session for the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix has concluded.

According to Offsideplus.az, Max Verstappen, the Dutch driver for Red Bull, achieved the best time during the final practice session at the Baku City Circuit, clocking in at 1 minute 43.922 seconds to secure the top spot.

George Russell of Mercedes finished in second place, just 0.099 seconds behind, while Lewis Hamilton of Ferrari took third, 0.111 seconds off the pace. The top five was completed by Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes) and Charles Leclerc (Ferrari).

McLaren drivers Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris finished the session in seventh and eighth places, respectively.

The qualifying session is set to take place shortly at 16:00.
