Speaking at the post-match press conference, Rashad Sadygov addressed the media:

The head coach also commented on the effectiveness of the substitutions:

"Actually, we had prepared with a 4-2-3-1 system. Ismayil and Cibril were supposed to be in the starting lineup. However, they got injured two days ago. If we had put Krisi on the pitch from the start, we wouldn't have been able to utilise him properly in the second half. Vierinya has just returned from injury, and he wouldn't have been able to adapt fully to the pace of the game. Thank God we managed to win with this system today."
