On December 5, the UFC returns to Saudi Arabia, promising fans an exciting night of fights. Former middleweight champion Israel Adesanya will make his return to the octagon after a long hiatus, facing the dangerous Shara Magomedov in the main event.

According to Offsideplus.az, the co-main event will feature welterweights Ian Garry and Yaroslav Amosov going head-to-head. With four ambitious fighters involved, thrilling and intense matchups are expected in Saudi Arabia.

Adesanya (24-6) returns to the octagon nine months after losing to Co Payfer in March. He will be looking to break a streak of four consecutive defeats. The fighter will enter this bout with a new training regimen, having transitioned from City Kickboxing in New Zealand to Freestyle MMA in Sydney, Australia, where he is now training alongside current UFC champion Alexander Volkanovski.

Shara Magomedov (17-1) will step into the cage with great motivation after defeating Michel Pereira at the UFC Baku event. This will be his first encounter with a former UFC champion, and a victory would mark the biggest achievement of his career.

Ian Garry (17-2) returns to the cage four months after losing to Islam Makhachev at UFC 330. That defeat cost him his first title shot in the UFC. The Irish fighter aims to start a winning streak again and reclaim his title contention.

Yaroslav Amosov (30-1) will be making his third appearance in the UFC, and his matchup against Garry will be his biggest test yet. The former Bellator welterweight champion could earn a shot at the title in the UFC with a victory in this fight.

The UFC Saudi Arabia event will take place at the ANB Arena on December 5.
