The qualifying session for the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix has concluded.

According to Offsideplus.az, George Russell, the British driver for Mercedes, achieved the best time in the session, securing pole position.

Ferrari's Charles Leclerc will start from second place, while McLaren's Oscar Piastri will begin from third.

Russell's teammate, Kimi Antonelli, had an unfortunate qualifying session. The young Mercedes driver crashed into the wall on the first lap of the session. As a result of the accident, Antonelli was forced to end his participation early due to damage to his car.
