Sabah could advance to the league stage of the Champions League for the first time in its history. The Owls must overcome the hurdle of Aarhus to achieve this.
Bakhtiyar Musayev, head of the Scouts Department in the Technical Department of AFFA, shared his thoughts with Offsideplus.az regarding our representative's game. What are his expectations from Dambrauskas's team?
"First of all, I wish Sabah success. I hope that our representative will be the one celebrating and smiling. The first match showed that the opponent is not invincible. Even though they were two goals down in the first game, they did not shy away from the opponent. They even scored two goals, one of which was disallowed. It is very encouraging that they fought confidently until the end. I have high hopes that we will continue the game in Baku towards the end of the second half. Sabah gives a very confident impression. The chance of progressing to this stage is quite high. God willing, this will happen and a new chapter will be opened in the history of Azerbaijani football."
