A historic record has been set for the number of foreign tourists visiting Baku for the 10th anniversary of the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

According to Offsideplus.az, the number of foreign guests arriving in the capital has surpassed 16,000.

This is the highest figure recorded during the entire period that Formula 1 has been held in Baku.

For comparison, last year, 14,000 foreign tourists came to the Azerbaijani capital to watch the races.

The sharp increase in international interest is also reflected in ticket sales, with tickets for the 2026 Azerbaijan Grand Prix purchased by fans from over 120 countries.
