As part of the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the "BCC F1 Weekend Run" event was held at the Baku City Circuit.

According to Offsideplus.az, approximately 250 participants took part in the event, which was also attended by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Farid Gayibov.

Starting at 22:00, participants completed a full 6-kilometre lap of the track in the direction of the racing cars.

The run was organised to promote a healthy lifestyle and foster a sense of community ahead of the race week, with the focus placed on love for sport and participation rather than results.

It is worth noting that the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix will take place in Baku from 24 to 26 September.
