The first day of the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix will kick off with a packed schedule at the Baku City Circuit.

According to Offsideplus.az, the day's timetable will begin at 10:00 with a 45-minute free practice session for Formula 2 drivers.

Formula 1 cars will take to the track for the first time at 12:30. Teams will use the one-hour first free practice to test the technical setups of their cars and the Pirelli tyres. The second free practice session of the day will start at 16:00.

F2 drivers will compete in two consecutive qualifying sessions at 14:00 and 14:30.

It is worth noting that this year, as the only support race, the event will feature an expanded programme (one free practice, two qualifying sessions, one sprint, and two main races).
