The wrestling competitions have concluded at the inaugural Schoolchildren's Republican Sports Olympiad, jointly organized by the Ministry of Science and Education and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, with the support of Baku City Circuit Operations Company and respective sports federations.
Offsideplus.az reports on the fifth and final day of the event held at the sports hall of the Azerbaijan Technical University, medalists in Greco-Roman wrestling were determined across the 41 kg, 48 kg, 57 kg, 68 kg, and 85 kg weight categories:
41 kg:
Gold: Haji Huseynzade (Lankaran)
Silver: Umud Aghammadov (UGIM-2)
Bronze: Aghakishi Baghiyev (Masalli), Ali Ismayilzade (Yevlax)
48 kg:

Gold: Yusif Mammadov (Balakan)
Silver: Movlud Mustafayev (ROIL)
Bronze: Nariman Jafarzade (Lankaran), Afaddin Amanov (Zangilan)
68 kg:
Gold: Murad Novruzzade (UGIM-10)
Silver: Yusif Sadygov (Sumqayit, Tahsil)

Following the 3-day Greco-Roman wrestling tournament, UGIM-2 topped the team standings with 120 points. Zangilan finished second with 91 points, while ROIL claimed third place with 88 points.
