The European Wrestling Championships held in Tirana, the capital of Albania, are drawing to a close.

Offsideplus.az reports that our wrestlers who took to the mat today remain undefeated. Nuraddin Novruzov (61 kg), Turan Bayramov (74 kg), Arseniy Djioyev (86 kg), Ali Tsokayev (92 kg), and Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg), who joined the competition today, have all advanced to the semifinals. Their bouts to reach the final will begin at 18:45 Baku time.

Rashid Babazade (65 kg), who lost yesterday, competed in a repechage match today after his opponent advanced to the final. He secured a spot in the bronze medal match by defeating Ayub Musayev (Belgium) with a score of 4:2. His bout is scheduled to start after 20:00 Baku time.

It should be noted that the continental championship will conclude tomorrow, April 26.
