According to Offsideplus.az, Nariman Akhundzada, a member of the Azerbaijan national team, featured for Columbus Crew in their latest match.
They hosted New York City at home.
Akhundzada started the match and remained on the pitch for 83 minutes.
The game concluded with his team suffering a 1-2 defeat.
Columbus Crew will play their next fixture on July 26.
