"Our main problem was finishing."

These were the words of Rashad Sadygov, head coach of Zirə, following the Misli Premier League match against Sabah, which ended in a 5-0 defeat for his side.

The coach shared his thoughts on the match:

"Initially, we wanted to control the ball. I think we were doing that reasonably well. However, we made some serious mistakes during the game, and as a result, we conceded goals. After going 2-0 down, it was difficult for the players to regroup. But they managed to do so.

Although the final score was 0-5, I am not dissatisfied with my players. We had four or five goal-scoring opportunities, but we couldn't take advantage of them.

Today, we were trying to play differently against Sabah. It wasn't going badly, but they outperformed us in terms of finishing. Sabah has a Champions League match against Manchester United in a few days. I wish Sabah good luck and congratulate them on a well-deserved victory."

It is worth noting that the match, held at Bank Respublika Arena, saw goals from Velko Simiç (7), Choi Lens Mikels (13-p, 30, 57), and Kristian Nvaçukvu (51). Sabah currently leads the league table with 9 points, while Zirə sits in second place with the same number of points.
