"Dinamo" (Minsk) defeated Neftchi 4-2 in the second qualifying round of the Conference League.

According to Offsideplus.az, in the post-match press conference, the guests' head coach Aleksandr Shagoyko evaluated the hard-fought victory:

"My goal was to progress to the next round. We certainly didn't expect to concede two goals at the start of the match. We are a big club as well. We came here to win. We are happy to have secured the victory with four goals."

The head coach also discussed the impact of playing in European competitions in Azerbaijan last season:

"I don't know how to respond to that. It probably had an effect. Two goals is a significant advantage for the next round. A tough match awaits us. For us, any defeat is a tragedy. We don't play to lose. Everyone plays to win."
