"We had prepared well for both matches," said Twente's head coach John van den Brom after the second leg against Qarabag in the UEFA Conference League play-off round.

The coach commented on the victory:

"Although we lost the first match, we were able to create good moments. This time, we had analysed every detail thoroughly. We knew we were up against a very strong team. Thanks to our preparation and proper analysis, we achieved victory. After Qarabag's goal, we took the game more seriously and achieved what we wanted."

It is worth noting that in the first leg held in the Netherlands, Qarabag won 1-0. Thus, with an aggregate score of 4-2, Twente secured a place in the main stage of the UEFA Conference League.
