"Qarabag" will face CSKA Sofia in the first leg of the Europa League second qualifying round tomorrow.

Offsideplus.az reports that ahead of the match, head coach Gurban Gurbanov addressed the media:

"I congratulate Sabah. I wish success to Neftchi. Our opponent is a different team. We must be careful and responsible," he stated.

Regarding the formation of the game system, he commented:

"I wouldn't say that the game system we want is working perfectly. There are many changes. The players understand each other."

The experienced coach spoke about building an optimal squad:

"It's not easy to stabilise the game. There are shortcomings in the preparation plan. It's also not easy to bring everyone to the same level. We've seen this for years. But this time, we have seen it. It's hard to say when it will be right. It's difficult to say whether the optimal squad will come together sooner or later than we think."

Gurbanov also confirmed that Xoni Montiel has not been sent to the reserve team.
