With the support of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation, a new wrestling hall has been put into operation.

According to Offsideplus.az, the wrestling hall, which operates under the supervision of Greco-Roman wrestling World bronze medalist and European silver medalist Taleh Mammadov, is located in the Zabrat settlement.

Fully equipped with all necessary sports equipment, featuring two wrestling mats, designed to a high standard and fully compliant with regulations, the wrestling hall allows 50–60 teenagers and young athletes to train in wrestling at the same time.

The dense population in the villages and settlements around Baku increases the strategic importance of this facility. The wrestling center, which will operate in Greco-Roman wrestling, is expected to promote mass participation and further development of the sport.

It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation regularly takes an active role in launching wrestling halls across the country, and a series of measures aimed at improving infrastructure will continue in the future.
