Sharabutdin Magomedov, known as the Pirate of the Caspian, has arrived in Azerbaijan for UFC Fight Night Baku, which will take place at the National Gymnastics Arena on June 27.

Offsideplus.az reports that Sharabutdin will face Brazil's Michel Pereira in a middleweight bout, serving as the co-main event of UFC Fight Night: Fiziev vs Torres.

The fighter shared his thoughts on the upcoming bout upon his arrival at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport:

"The Pirate of the Caspian Sea is in Baku. I am very glad to be here. I feel great, my spirits are high, and I am completely focused on the upcoming fight. Over the next few days, I will go through the acclimatization process, finalize my preparations and weight cut, and step into the octagon in peak shape. I want to give the fans a spectacular and memorable fight, displaying the true Caucasian spirit in the octagon. I know that many of my friends, relatives, and compatriots will come to Baku.
