These words were spoken by Arif Asadov in an interview with Offsideplus.az regarding the Hovsan Race Complex and the U-15 World Championship.

"I visited the complex for the first time yesterday, and the sight I saw truly surprised me in a good way. The conditions created here give hope that it will greatly contribute to the development of our football. One of the main points of the development strategy adopted by AFFA is indeed the improvement of infrastructure. It is a significant step that such work is being done not only in Baku but also in the regions. The leadership of AFFA, representatives of SOCAR, and everyone who contributed to this work have played a major role. They all deserve thanks and applause.

Of course, the conditions they have created will remain under the control of AFFA in the future, and our national teams will benefit from this. This infrastructure opens up great opportunities for the future development of our footballers. The World Championship is now underway, and teams from various countries have come to our country. As they see the conditions created, positive impressions about our country and football will form.

At the forefront of all these successes is the value that the country’s president places on football. It is no coincidence that, thanks to his attention to our football, we have hosted several major tournaments, including world and European championships. The fact that the U-15 World Championship is being held for the first time in Azerbaijan and the creation of such high-level infrastructure is further proof of the great value the country’s leader places on our sports."
