The head coach of our U-16 national team, Famil Khalilov, has spoken to the media ahead of the FIFA U-15 World Championship and Festival.

According to Offsideplus.az, the specialist discussed the preparation process, opponents, and goals during a briefing held at the Hovsan Race Complex:

"Our preparations are going according to plan. We are already approaching the final stage. We will get the players ready for the matches.

Since this is a new format, we have very little information about our opponents. Our main goal is to stick to our game.

As the host, our aim is to represent Azerbaijan dignifiedly and contribute to the development of our footballers. We aim to perform well, fight to the maximum, and achieve the best results.

Of course, playing in Baku is a motivation for us. At the same time, we have tried to explain to the footballers that this also comes with great responsibility."
