Azerbaijan's U-16 national team held their first training session at the newly constructed Hovsan Sports Complex in preparation for the FIFA U-15 World Championship and Festival.

Offsideplus.az reports that during the training process, head coach Ayxan Abbasov met with the young players and coaching staff, wishing them success. The experienced specialist expressed his confidence in the players:

"You have a great chance to participate in the world championship at the age of 15. This will remain an unforgettable memory throughout your career. Our confidence in you is high."

Ayxan Abbasov closely monitored the training process.

It is worth noting that Azerbaijan's team will play their first match in the tournament against Timor-Leste on October 24 at 19:30 at the Crystal Hall. The other teams in our group will be Andorra, Australia, Israel, and Haiti.
