Azerbaijani UFC fighter Nazim Sadikhov will not be competing at UFC Fight Night.

Offsideplus.az reports that Sadikhov revealed on his social media account that he sustained an injury during the early days of his training camp and has been battling this injury for over five weeks.

"Hello, friends. I have good and bad news. The bad news is that I will not be fighting at MSG. I got injured in the early days of the training camp and have been dealing with this injury for over five weeks now. Initially, our plan was to continue training and fight despite the injury. However, my opponent also withdrew from the fight due to injury. Therefore, my team and I informed the UFC not to look for another opponent for the fight.

The good news is that I will not need surgery or a long recovery process. I will heal this injury and return to fighting as soon as possible.

I want to thank everyone who has been by my side. We will see each other soon," Sadikhov stated.

It is worth noting that Nazim was scheduled to face Jefferson Nascimento on November 14.
