Turan Tovuz goalkeeper Sergey Samok has achieved a unique milestone in the Azerbaijan Premier League.

According to Offsideplus.az, the Russian shot-stopper has managed to keep a clean sheet in his last eight consecutive league appearances.

The Professional Football League of Azerbaijan officially reported the feat.

Samok’s impressive run spans across the end of the previous season and the current campaign. After maintaining his form in the latest match against Neftchi (1:0), the experienced goalkeeper has now kept a clean sheet in all six matches he has played this season.

Having gone 778 minutes without conceding a goal, Samok last allowed a goal in May 2025, during a match against Neftchi (1:2). Since Dembo Darbo’s strike in the 32nd minute of that game, the goalkeeper has effectively "locked" his goal, remaining unbeaten ever since.
