Offsideplus.az reports, citing the Azerbaijan Chess Federation, that the match in Hong Kong took place within the framework of the World Rapid and Blitz Team Championships.

In the end, Azerbaijan's Odlar Yurdu team claimed a victory over WR Chess—one of the tournament's main favorites, featuring Magnus Carlsen—with a score of 3.5-2.5.

It is worth noting that the WR Chess lineup includes Magnus Carlsen, Fabiano Caruana, Wesley So, Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, and several other prominent grandmasters. Odlar Yurdu, whose roster is primarily formed of young chess players, currently sits in 8th place with 15 points.
