Formula 1 and the International Automobile Federation (FIA) have announced the official calendar for the 2027 World Championship following approval from the World Motor Sport Council.

According to Offsideplus.az, the Azerbaijan Grand Prix will once again take place from September 24 to 26, just as it did this year.

The new season will consist of 24 rounds across 22 different countries. The championship will kick off with the Bahrain Grand Prix, scheduled for March 12 to 14. The final race of the season will conclude in the United Arab Emirates, with the Abu Dhabi round taking place from December 10 to 12.

As part of the changes, the number of sprint races in 2027 will increase from six to ten. The first official pre-season test sessions will be held at the Bahrain International Circuit from February 24 to 27.
