Azerbaijan has secured its first medal at the European Judo Championships held in Tbilisi.
According to Offsideplus.az, Ahmad Yusifov, competing in the 60 kg weight category, claimed the bronze medal. He earned the podium spot by defeating his teammate, Balabay Aghayev, in the third-place contest.
It should be noted that the European Championships will conclude on April 19.
