The year's final wrestling ranking tournament is set to kick off tomorrow in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.

According to Offsideplus.az, referencing the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation, Azerbaijan will be represented by a total of 21 athletes in this highly anticipated competition, which runs until July 19.

Freestyle wrestlers will be the first to take to the mat in this fourth ranking tournament of the season. Under the guidance of head coach Khetag Gazyumov, the lineup includes Islam Bazarganov (57 kg), Nuraddin Novruzov (61 kg), Rashid Babazade (65 kg), Kanan Heybatov (70 kg), Turan Bayramov (74 kg), Dzhabrayil Gadjiev (79 kg), Arseniy Dzhioev (86 kg), Ali Tsokayev (92 kg), Osman Nurmagomedov (97 kg), and Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg).

Following them, the women's wrestling team will enter the competition. Led by coach Hasrat Mammadyarov, Nargiz Samadova, Asmar Jankurtaran (both 53 kg), Gultekin Shirinova (55 kg), Zhala Aliyeva (57 kg), Birgul Soltanova (65 kg), and Nigar Mirzazade (68 kg) will battle for medals.

In the Greco-Roman wrestling category, senior coach Nuraddin Rajabov will lead Elmir Aliyev (60 kg), Murad Mammadov, Sakit Guliyev (both 63 kg), Mahammad Shukurzade (67 kg), and Arif Niftullayev (97 kg) onto the mat.

The preliminary rounds of the tournament will begin daily at 12:30 Baku time, with the medal matches scheduled for 20:00. Azerbaijan will also be represented in the refereeing corps by category I-S referee Asif Shiraliyev.
