Baku to host the IBA Champions' Night on July 10.

Offsideplus.az reports that the tournament, which will be organized at the Sea Breeze Resort for the first time, will feature 6 bouts with the participation of some of the world's strongest boxers.

Azerbaijani athletes will compete in 5 of these bouts. In the 47.6 kg weight category, world champion Subhan Mamedov will face Richard Gard (Philippines). World Championship medalists Sarkhan Aliyev (70 kg) and Saidjamshid Jafarov (72.6 kg) will take on Nurtas Azhbenov (Kazakhstan) and Nikolay Veselov (Belarus), respectively.

European Games bronze medalist Tayfur Aliyev (60 kg) will test his strength against Khurshidbek Rasuljonov (Uzbekistan), while World Cup semifinalist Nabi Isgandarov (70 kg) will go up against Hikmet Garayev (Russia). Each of these boxers' bouts will consist of 6 rounds.

In the remaining bout, Cheeryav Ashalayev (Russia, 76.2 kg) will square off against Mikhail Dolgolevets (Belarus). This matchup is scheduled for 8 rounds.

It is worth noting that the IBA Champions' Night will kick off at 19:00.
