In accordance with the decision made at the AFFA Executive Committee meeting held on June 25, 2025, renovation works are ongoing at Bayil Stadium and its administrative building to implement the pilot project of the Football Development Center.

The process of installing a artificial turf with a FIFA Quality Pro certificate is currently underway at the stadium. Furthermore, the installation of the lighting system, as well as major renovation works in the locker rooms, referee, doctor, doping, office, and bedrooms of the administrative building, are nearing completion.

Following the renovation, the stadium is planned to be fully dedicated to youth and grassroots football. In this regard, the Sabahin Ulduzlari tournament is scheduled to be organized at Bayil Stadium this August in cooperation with the Baku Football Federation.
