Azerbaijani national wrestling teams continue their preparations for upcoming major competitions.

Offsideplus.az reports that the women's national wrestling team is currently holding a training camp in Goygol. The preparation process, which kicked off on March 22, will continue until April 4. Hosted at the Goygol Olympic Sports Complex, 12 wrestlers are participating under the guidance of acting head coach Toghrul Asgarov, senior coach Agahuseyn Mustafayev, and coach Hasrat Mammadyarov.

The U20 men's freestyle national team is also continuing its camp at the same venue. The training, which began on March 15, will last for 14 days. 20 wrestlers are involved under senior coach Arif Abdullayev and coaches Rovshan Hajiyev and Nazim Alijanov.

Meanwhile, the U17 Greco-Roman national team has been participating in a joint training camp in Almaty, Kazakhstan, since March 15, alongside teams from Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Tajikistan. 22 wrestlers are taking part in the sessions, led by senior coach Rafig Huseynov and coaches Kamran Mammadov and Zohrab Abbasov, with the process set to conclude on the 26th of the month.

The U17 freestyle wrestling team is headed to Khachmaz. From March 27 to April 9, 30 athletes will prepare for upcoming tournaments at the Khachmaz Olympic Sports Complex under the leadership of senior coach Asgarkhan Novruzov and coaches Vahid Mammadov, Yashar Aliyev, and Allahverdi Valiyev.
