Former CSKA Moscow and Rostov forward Dmitry Kirichenko has shared his thoughts on the potential return of Turan Tovuz head coach Kurban Berdyev to the Russian Premier League.
According to Offsideplus.az, he spoke highly of the experienced specialist's work:
"I consider Berdyev's return to the RPL to be completely possible. As far as I know, he had offers. In Azerbaijan, he secured European qualification with Turan Tovuz, but unfortunately, the club was disqualified over an issue from eight years ago. The experienced specialist is doing quality work, as he always does. Finishing 3rd in a league featuring Qarabag, Neftchi, and Sabah is a very serious achievement. I am grateful to him for everything he gave me. He is the benchmark of quality coaching."
It should be noted that Kurban Berdyev has one year remaining on his contract with Turan Tovuz.
