Xankendi, competing in the first division, has made a change in their head coach. Zaur Hajiyev has parted ways with the team, and Royal Najafov, who previously worked at Baku Sporting, has signed a contract to take over at the end of the season.

The new head coach shared his thoughts about the team with Offsideplus.az:

"The new team has only managed to collect one point in three matches. Our main task is to adapt the team to the league and to improve the current situation. Our goal is to stay in the league and, if possible, to climb higher. We will be competing in the Premier League next season."

It is worth noting that Baku Sporting, under Royal Najafov's leadership, had previously missed out on the playoffs in the last round of the previous season.
