Maqsud Adigözəlov, the president of Sabah, has shared his expectations regarding the club's upcoming UEFA Champions League matches in an interview with Offsideplus.az:

"We, like the fans, know who we will face in the Champions League. Saying that we will beat Barcelona or Borussia might sound absurd (laughs). I have always said that we have come to fight in this tournament, not to lose. We want to win every match. The game against Manchester United showed that we will not sit back and park the bus. We will play the same way in every match. We will go out to win against Barcelona, as well as against Kəpəz and Neftchi."

The official has called on fans to attend the matches:

"Come to the games, watch, and enjoy. This is a celebration of football. It is fantastic to see such teams in Azerbaijan. If someone had told me in my childhood that I could watch Barcelona in Baku... that would be fantastic. I invite fans to the stadium. The dates for all the matches are known. We will try to make you happy not just with football, but also with the results."
