In the break caused by international fixtures for national teams, Kəpəz continued its preparations for the Misli Premier League by testing its strength in two friendly matches today.
According to Offsideplus.az, the team first faced Azerbaijan's U-19 national squad. Head coach Azər Məmmədov gave opportunities mainly to young players in this match. The game, played at a high tempo and in an engaging competitive atmosphere, ended in a 2-2 draw.
Later, on the reserve pitch of Ganja City Stadium, Kəpəz took on I Liga representatives Gəncəbasar. The "yellow-blues" opened the scoring early in the first half with a precise long-range shot from Namik Ələskərov. Gəncəbasar restored parity after the break, and the match concluded in a 1-1 draw.
