The Azerbaijan national team played to a goalless draw against Liechtenstein in the League D of the Nations League.

According to Offsideplus.az, in the post-match press conference, the opponent's head coach Konrad Fünfstück commented on the match:

"I thank the AFFA. This is my first time in Azerbaijan. They created a wonderful environment for us. We experienced the hospitality of the Azerbaijani people. A 0-0 result is also a positive outcome for us. Both teams earned a point. We had chances in attack, but we need to improve ourselves. I am satisfied with our last three matches. We had 2-3 chances to score and win. We will focus on the upcoming games."
