The Silk Way Swimming World Cup stage continues at the Baku Aquatics Palace, with 13 Azerbaijani swimmers competing across eight events on the second day of the tournament.
Egor Mainitskii set a new national record in the men's 200m individual medley with a time of 2:03.69, while Anastasia Boborikina broke the national record in the women's 100m breaststroke (1:15.32).
Additionally, Egor Mainitskii (50m breaststroke), Ramal Sadykhly (100m freestyle), and both Amin Orujlu and Farhad Shirmamedli (1500m freestyle) achieved new personal bests.
Belgium's Lucas Henveaux claimed victory in the men's 1500m freestyle event, while Fatima Alkaramova will represent Azerbaijan in the evening session's 400m individual medley.
Overall, 15 swimmers are representing Azerbaijan at the Baku stage.
