Continuing their transfer activities for the 2026/27 season, Qarabag has completed the signing of another player.
According to Offsideplus.az, negotiations with Hungary's Ferencvaros have successfully concluded, and Cebrail Makreckis has been transferred to Qarabag.
The Latvian defender has signed a three-season contract and will wear the number 25 shirt.
Born in Germany and a product of Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Makreckis has played for Bonner, Borussia Dortmund, Viktoria Berlin, and Bulgaria's Pirin Blagoevgrad during his professional career. He represented Latvia's U-19 national team in 2018.
It is worth noting that Cebrail Makreckis is the eighth signing for the team during the summer transfer window.
Previously, Jali Muaddib, Zakaria Savo, Samuel Lobato, Bruno Langa, Martin Zlomislic, Renaldo Sefas, and Bense Varkonyi have joined Qarabag.
