Sabah has extended its journey with Serbian midfielder Velko Simic.

Offsideplus.az reports that the capital club has signed a new 2-year contract with the 29-year-old football player.

Since Simic joined the team as a free agent, this transfer was completed without any transfer fee.

As a reminder, the Serbian player joined the Sabah squad on loan from Turkish club Sivasspor in August last year. Wearing the Owls' jersey, Simic made 34 official appearances in total, contributing 12 goals and 13 assists.

In the past season, Velko Simic won both the Azerbaijan Premier League title and the national cup with his team.
