Lorenzo Mezzotero, a forward for Azerbaijan's U-21 national team, has made his official debut for Italian club Sampdoria.

According to Offsideplus.az, the 18-year-old player got his chance in the second round of Serie B during the match against Juve Stabia. The young forward came on as a substitute for Gennaro Tutino in the 87th minute of the match.

At the same time, experienced player Lorenzo Insigne also joined the game, replacing Danel Sinani.

It is worth noting that Sampdoria lost the match at home, going down 1-2 to Juve Stabia.
